Aherlow cattle

It wasn't late afternoon, but it wasn't early in the day either, in late December that sun is always kind of low anyway. These cattle were wintering out in the Glen of Aherlow, and behind them was part of the Galtee Mountain range which divides County Tipperary from County Cork. We only went out for a couple of hours as Dolf wasn't feeling the best, but we did get some nice snow shots. Of course we couldn't have known that the real snow would arrive six weeks later in February but that's Irish weather for you.
